Changelog

What shipped, and when. Changes you can see, not every commit.

  • AddedA new scenivia.com: clearer pages, a guided brief to start your first film, and simpler account settings.
  • AddedThree new templates in the Library: Operations launch, Via launch and Brand reveal.
  • ImprovedChoose your cookies in more detail, session recording included, and your choice is asked again once it expires.
  • FixedBug fixes: an export with loud music is no longer refused, and a sign-in sent before the page has loaded never shows your password in the address bar.
  • AddedDescribe your product in one sentence: Via finds its site, reads it through, and fills the template with your real words, figures and pictures.
  • AddedNew templates in the Library, and every one opens already in your colours, logo and fonts.
  • AddedEdit a video together in real time: everyone sees the others' cursors and changes, and Via keeps the edits made while it writes.
  • ImprovedExports are faster and steadier, and an export in progress is still there after you reload the page.
  • FixedBug fixes: older projects open again with their draft, a long storyboard opens instead of an error, a signed-in reader no longer lands on the login page, and templates keep longer words whole instead of cutting them.
  • AddedEdit the film right in the preview: double-click a text to rewrite it, and move or resize texts and images with the mouse.
  • AddedTransitions between shots are back (wipe, flash, iris, glow), and the export renders them exactly as the preview shows.
  • AddedA storyboard shot can be one of your own videos or screenshots, alongside texts and pictures.
  • ImprovedVia reads your site, its colours and logo, and shows you the brand it found before it writes the film.
  • AddedThe logo wall of a generated film shows the client logos found on your site, instead of generic pictures.
  • ImprovedA generated film writes in your site's voice: its language, its tone, and one of your own calls to action on the closing shot.
  • ImprovedThe closing card is cleaner: your logo, your last line and, when it is known, your site's address, legible on any background.
  • FixedCompressed exports finish again. For less than a day they stopped partway through the render.
  • AddedSquare and the 4:5 of a feed now export in their own frame. A video composed in 1:1 comes out at 1080x1080, in 4:5 at 1080x1350, instead of a cropped 16:9.
  • AddedA vertical film now exports vertical. A board set to 9:16 is drawn in that shape, edge to edge, instead of being placed inside a 16:9 file with black down each side.
  • AddedTwo more finished films open in the Studio and can be edited shot by shot: a workspace tour and an assistant demo, both built from real footage rather than placeholders.
  • AddedEvery shot has a duration slider in its Motion tab, from 0.2 to 30 seconds. Past the component's own length, its last frame is held.
  • AddedA shot's settings are sorted into three tabs, Content, Style and Motion, and the settings nobody ever touched have left the panel. Swapping a component keeps your texts and colours.
  • AddedAn imported video becomes a shot, an audio file the film's soundtrack, a font its typeface.
  • ImprovedFilms of thirty seconds and more export much faster: the render is cut into slices drawn in parallel, then joined without loss.
  • AddedNew ready-to-use video templates you can open and edit as a starting point.
  • ImprovedThe editor's AI assistant now reshapes your video in a conversation: add or remove a scene, change a scene's background or length, and adapt a template to your own product.
  • ImprovedExports are steadier, and a video made of a single scene now exports too.
  • ImprovedAdd music and sound effects in the editor and preview them in place.
  • AddedFourteen more motion components the generator can choose from, so a storyboard has more ways to say the same thing.
  • FixedEvery hide control in the Layers panel now changes the frame. Some of them used to draw an eye that did nothing.
  • FixedAn export is refused up front when rendering is unavailable, instead of queueing a job that would never run and holding your credits.
  • ImprovedThe pricing page now presents three tiers side by side, and the public site is set in one typeface throughout.
  • ImprovedThe home page hero went from 625 KB to 82 KB, so the first screen arrives sooner on a slow connection.
  • ImprovedThe account tab is called Subscription rather than Billing, which is what it actually holds.
  • AddedCheckout collects the withdrawal waiver required for digital content delivered immediately, before any payment.
